Rooted Torment

What is Rooted Torment?

Rooted Torment is a single player horror game that includes a frightening narrative following the protagonist Saoirse. Who finds herself trapped in her old home – having to solve puzzles to progress further – unaware of what is a memory and what is real anymore. 

What are the controls?

The movement is the same as usual Roblox games (WASD to move around, right click mouse to move camera.)  Interactive Environment Orbs can be interacting by pressing M1 (Mouse 1), interacting with NPCs can be done by pressing 'E' to move to the next dialog line, Double press 'E' to skip the typing animation. You can also completely exit the dialog by pressing the 'X' key. Puzzles can be completed via humanoid touch. (aka. by walking near or on the key item.)

Credits

Any credits/assets/plugins I have used have been linked and credited in the added Credits file attachment. Such as clothing models, textures, paintings, sounds, etc. 

Game animations, models, character designs, textures, puzzles, levels, scripts and sounds were made and designed by Araminta McDiarmid except anything listed in the Credits which may have been altered or edited to fit the purpose of the game.

Warning

This game obtains dark subject matter relating to mental health issues such as depression and anxiety. If this is something triggering please do not play.

Due to Roblox Studio decals loading weirdly, there is a common chance that the player might get flash banged with a white screen. If you are epileptic or sensitive to flashing lights please be aware.
